The SKA Data Challenge 3b is currently ongoing, with a deadline on 30th April 2025.

The Swedish SRC is supporting with computing resources a team of researchers in Sweden and Switzerland (SKACH) participating in this data challenge. This exercise will allow testing our computing resources and the user service for the future needs of SKA users in our region.

The SKA Data Challenge 3 aims at preparing the astronomical community in analysing future SKA-Low observations of the Epoch of Reonisation signal, one of the Science Goals of SKA. Participants in this data challenge are tasked with elucidating exactly when the Epoch of Reionisation occurred given a realistic, artificial dataset.
